SALUTE TO SERVICE SUITE
For more than a decade, Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have welcomed local military members and first responders to a VIP game-night experience — luxury suite seating, snacks, VIP parking, and the gratitude of their community.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
What is the Salute to Service Suite?
A community-recognition program at Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza, home of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. The program is proudly presented by Coors Light and L.T. Verrastro, and is managed by Legends Global at Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza.
Each season, local military personnel and first responders are nominated by friends, family, and neighbors to be honored at a Penguins home game. Selected honorees receive a VIP suite experience — a night of hockey, hospitality, and public gratitude for the service they've given to country and community.
COMMUNITY IMPACT
More Than a Decade of Honoring Local Heroes
Since its debut in the 2015-16 season, the Salute to Service Suite has grown into one of the most meaningful traditions at Mohegan Arena. More than 4,000+ tickets have been donated to local heros military members, first responders, and their families across 11 seasons of AHL hockey.
